Republicans and Democrats.  What each Party stands for!

Core Beliefs: REPUBLICAN
Republicans believe in “personal responsibility” the freedom to make their own decisions.
The Republican philosophy is based on limited government. Government should intervene only in specific cases where society cannot act at the individual level. Each person should have  the freedom to work  hard and strive to achieve their own American Dream for themselves and their families. Republicans believe in giving people a hand up, and  not a hand out, encouraging people to get the education and training they need to succeed.
Government power should be kept close to the people through their state and community leaders, and not centralized in distant federal government agencies .
Core Beliefs: DEMOCRAT
Democrats believe it is the responsibility of government to care for all individuals, even if it means citizens must give up some individual rights and less opportunities for the future.
Democrat party leaders have pushed for centralization of power in Washington DC, with little consideration for the rights of both the individuals and the communities. They favor interfering on the community level with government solutions which often cause more problems. They create federal regulations and controls by taking the power away from local authority and put it in the hands of unelected bureaucrats.
The Economy: REPUBLICAN
Republicans believe the free market system is best for the economy.  Free enterprise has brought economic growth and innovations that have made America great.
Government should help stimulate a business environment where people are free to use their talents and pursue their dreams, not penalized with unnecessary government regulations.
The Economy : DEMOCRAT
Democrats believe that the economy is too complicated for the people to understand. They believe that business decisions should be made by government officials and in the best interest of labor unions. In other words, if you are an entrepreneur “you did not create your business, the government did”!  Government jobs do not help the growth of our economy because the tax payers pay for the salaries of government jobs with our taxes.

Republican Party vs. Democrat Party:  There IS a Difference!Republican =  less Taxes,  More Freedom, Tough on Crime,  More Homeland Defense

TAXES

Republicans support making it easier for families to make it in California by reducing the taxes on income, savings, and purchasing the every day goods families need. In California, we suffer from the highest tax burden in the west.  Republicans want to fix that by reducing taxes.

Democrats consistently promote higher taxes on income and savings while also supporting hidden taxes like those in your telephone bill or electric bill.  Instead of reducing the tax burden on California families, Democrats are consistently looking for ways to raise taxes.

FREEDOM

Republicans support maximizing personal freedoms by limiting how much government can tell Californians how to live and work.  We want to make it easier to create jobs in California by doing away with needless paperwork burdens that drive jobs to other states.

Democrats consistently work to make government bigger and more intrusive, telling Californians even what kind of light bulbs and televisions they can own.  Heavy-handed regulations coming from Sacramento drive jobs away, making it more difficult for Californians to find well paying jobs.

CRIME

Republicans support policies that recognize people are responsible for their own actions.  Republicans hold criminals responsible for the crimes they commit and support tough measures to keep thosse who commit crimes off our streets and away from our schools.

Democrats loof for ways to blame “society” for the actions of those who commit crimes and are constantly looking forw ways to reduce the tough measures that have brought crime down in California and protected hundreds of thousands of citizens from criminals.

TERRORISM AND NATIONAL DEFENSE

Republicans support building and maintaining a powerful national defense and keeping America on offense in the gloval war on terroer.  Terror groups around the world must be confronted and defeated before they have the opportunity to hurt Americans here at home.

Democrats have gone back to the pre-9/11 days of treating terrorism like a law enforcement problem.
